Anderson Steam Carriage Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
JQ and AC Shimer founded the company in Anderson , Indiana , in 1901 . In the spring of 1901 a newspaper reported that the prototype stage had ended and orders were being received. In June 1901 another newspaper reported that production had meanwhile started. The brand name was Anderson Steam Carriage . Production ended in 1902. It is not known how many vehicles were made.
