Bridges was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

John Miller Bridges ran the company based in Carlisle , Pennsylvania . In 1900 he started producing automobiles. The brand name was Bridges . Sales were limited to the local area. Production ended in 1901. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

Bridges made small runabouts . They had a single cylinder engine . There was a choice of engines with 4.5 hp and 6 hp. The customer could choose between wooden and wire spoke wheels.
