Automobile Fore Carriage Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

H. Bergholtz, JWS Langeman, W. Haxelton, FH Rosse and EJ Paterson founded the company in West Virginia in February 1900 . The office and factory were, however, in New York City . They acquired patent rights from Kühlstein in Germany and started producing automobiles. The brand name was Automobile Fore Carriage . Production ended in the same year.

vehicles

In principle, it was drive units that consisted of the front axle, motor and power transmission. They were (mostly) installed in horse-drawn wagons, from which the drawbar was removed. Two complete vehicles have also been handed down.
