The company was founded in 1901 in Jersey City , New Jersey . It made engines and automobiles. The brand name was Boisselot . Production ended in the same year.
The Holland Automobile Company from the same city is considered the successor company.
Products
One offer was a motor with 0.25 hp . With this and the necessary accessories, buyers could motorize a bicycle . The company's hope was that these buyers would later also buy complete vehicles.
There was a choice of two passenger cars . The Pearl model had a water-cooled engine with 3.75 hp. The open two-seater cost 600 US dollars . The Boisselot had a 6 hp engine. The voiturette offered space for three to four people. It was twice as expensive.
There were plans to take part in the 1901 Buffalo Endurance Run car race .
