United Power Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in early 1901. Involved were W. Myron Reynolds as President, Louis J. Harris as General Manager and Mechanical Engineer, and James McNab as Treasurer. The seat was in New York City . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was United Power . The offer comprised an extensive range. There were also three plants. In the former work of the International Motor Carriage Company in Stamford in Connecticut emerged steam car . Electric cars came from a plant in Rutland in Vermont and vehicles with petrol engine of Springfield in Massachusetts . Production ended in 1901.
