RC Wall Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles and engines .

Company history

The company was based in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . The oldest known mention is from April 1, 1894. It manufactured bicycles of the Wall's Special brand from 1895 to 1898 . In addition, gasoline engines , power transmissions and, from 1900, automobiles were created . The brand name was Wall . In 1903 the production of motor vehicles ended .

Motor vehicles

The first model had a two-cylinder engine . He made 4 hp . The open runabout offered space for two people. The original price was initially 750 US dollars and 800 dollars from 1902. A source also states that the engine was initially mounted under the seat and the steering was operated via a steering lever. It wasn't until 1903 that there was a front engine and steering wheel .

A second model was added in 1903. It had a three-cylinder engine with water cooling . A 107.95 mm bore and 120.65 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 3313 cc and an output of 9 hp. There was a choice of tonneau and delivery truck for $ 1200 each.

A source also mentions a three-cylinder model with 9 hp and a five-seater tonneau structure for 1901 for a price of 1500 dollars.
