Reynolds was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

WE Reynolds worked for the South Penn Oil Company and the Parkersburg-Marietta Traction Company . He then moved to Oil City , Pennsylvania . In October 1899 he announced the production of automobiles. The brand name was Reynolds . The vehicles were featured in the EH Hall Company's auto catalogs . Production ended in 1901.

Reynolds had announced vehicles that were superior to the competition. However, the source states that this did not apply to the vehicles. A special feature was that the customer could choose between a steam engine and a gasoline engine . The setup was a runabout .
