Sommer Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . The name Sommer Motor Company can be found in the literature .

Company history

The brothers Herman A. and William J. Sommer operated the Hammer-Sommer Auto Carriage Company until 1904 . After separating from Henry F. Hammer, they founded their own company in May 1904. The seat was also in Detroit from Michigan . They continued the production of automobiles. The brand name was now summer . Production ended in 1905.

At the Summer Motor Company of Ohio , the two brothers were not involved.
