Marlboro Automobile & Carriage Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Orrin P. Walker founded the company in 1899. The seat was in Marlborough , Massachusetts . In March 1900 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Marlboro . By January 1901, 30 vehicles had been produced and sold. Production ended in 1903.
The Videx Automobile & Carriage Company took over the company, but had to give up in October 1903 without having manufactured a single vehicle.

Steam cars were on offer . The engine came from the Mason-Neilan Regulator Company . The engine output of 5 hp was transmitted to the rear axle via a chain.
A short version with a 157 cm wheelbase was bodied as an open two-seater. An illustration shows a stanhope . There was also a version that had a chassis with a 170 cm wheelbase. Its structure offered space for four people.
The Bonhams auction house offered a vehicle that had survived several times. A price of 50,000 to 70,000 euros was expected on February 6, 2014 and from 34,000 to 45,000 euros on October 31.
