Company history
BH Pomeroy founded in 1902 Pomeroy Manufacturing Company in Brooklyn in the US state New York . He started manufacturing automobiles in March 1902. The brand name was initially Keromobile .
In July 1902 the company name changed to Pomeroy Motor Vehicle Company . The vehicles were now marketed as Pomeroy . Production ended in the same year.

The brands got the name Keromobile because the engines ran on kerosene . At first there was only one model. The vehicles were powered by a two-cylinder , two-stroke engine with an output of 8 hp . The engine weighed only 39 kg. The only structure was a two-seater runabout .
The engine was retained for the Pomeroy . A two-seater runabout, six-seater Surrey , delivery van and a family combination were now available . The latter could be used as a runabout, Surrey and delivery truck.
