Pilgrim Motor Vehicle Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Edward L. Orcutt had made a steam car in Somerville , Massachusetts in 1899 . With the help of some Boston businessmen, he founded the company in early 1900. The seat was in Boston and the plant in Somerville. Elmer N. Hutchins served as president, B. Alden Prince treasurer, William M. McDonald manager and Orcutt also involved. In the same year they made some automobiles that were offered as Pilgrim . The company was dissolved in 1900.

Other manufacturers of passenger cars of the brand Pilgrim were Ohio Falls Motor Car Company and Pilgrim Motor Car Company from the USA and Pilgrim's Way Motor and Pilgrim Cars from the United Kingdom .
