Pilgrim Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

William Radford had a background in automotive engineering with Oldsmobile , Warren Motor Car Company , Hudson Motor Car Co. , Detroit-Oxford Manufacturing Company, and Fostoria Motor Car Company . He founded the company in Detroit , Michigan in 1914 . Clarence H. Leete became president. In February 1915, the series production of automobiles was to begin and come onto the market as the Pilgrim . This did not happen for the time being, or only to a small extent. In May 1915, Leete was charged with fraud. Radford left the company. In September 1916, Leete sued Radford. RC Aland of the Aland Motor Car Company was hired as a designer in 1916. He revised the models.
