Motor Car Company of America was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based on Broadway 2100 in Manhattan , a borough of New York City . It manufactured some automobiles in 1911 that were marketed as America . A little later, the WH McIntyre Company took over the company and continued production under its own brand name.

The only model 40 got its name after the engine output of 40 hp . The engine was a four cylinder engine . The wheelbase was 300 cm. A two-seat roadster , a four-seat torpedo , a five-seat touring car and a five-seat landaulet were available .
