Roberts Motor Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of engines and automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Clyde in 1905 and moved to Sandusky , both in Ohio , in 1908 . It made engines that were used for boats , automobiles, and planes . Some automobiles were made in 1915. The brand name was Roberts . That year William H. Burke was president.

After 1919 the track of the company is lost.

Products

The engines developed between 3 and 60 hp .

The only passenger car model had a self-made six-cylinder engine with 60 hp.
