Nichols & Shepard Company was an American manufacturer of agricultural equipment.

Company history

The company was founded in Battle Creek , Michigan in 1848 . The people mentioned are John Nichols and Charles Shepard. They made agricultural implements. Tractors followed later . Between 1910 and 1911 a number of automobiles were made that were marketed as Nichols & Shepard .

In 1929 it was taken over by the Oliver Farm Equipment Company .
