Whyland-Nelson Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . Another source confirms the brand name and the period, but not the company name.

Company history

Frank V. Whyland had experience in automobile manufacturing at the Berkshire Auto-Car Company . At the end of 1911, he founded the company in Brooklyn , New York State . He became president and his partner Joel Nelson became general manager. In 1912 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Whyland-Nelson . Production ended in 1913. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

Whyland founded FV Whyland & Company in 1914 .

Only one model was on offer. It had a gasoline engine . It was called a light touring car . The rear seats could easily be removed so that the vehicle could then be used as a delivery van .
