Storage Battery Power Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . One source states that Electra Storage Battery Power Company differs from this .

Company history

The company was based in Chicago , Illinois . Mainly it manufactured batteries and other parts for other manufacturers of electric cars. From 1913 onwards, the company produced its own cars. The brand name was Electra . Vehicle production ended in 1913 or 1915.

It is not known when the company was dissolved.

There was no connection with the Electra Manufacturing Company from Los Angeles , which also sold vehicles as Electra .

Electric cars were on offer. The electric motor developed 2.5 hp and drove the rear axle. Many parts were made in-house. The only body shape was a two-seater roadster . The chassis had a wheelbase of 216 cm . The original price was 750 US dollars .
