Columbia Taxicab Company was an American taxi company and manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded on February 23, 1910. The seat was in St. Louis , Missouri . It used 100 taxis. In 1915 the company started producing automobiles. The brand name was LWC . The main aim was to replace the taxis that had previously been bought in with their own production. In addition, the vehicles were offered on the open market. Vehicle production ended in 1917. After 1918 the track of the company is lost.
