New York Car & Truck Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

HS Rossell, TS Strong Jr. and JH Turner founded the company in the spring of 1906. The aim was to produce trains, carriages , automobiles , buses and other vehicles. The seat was in Kingston , New York . In 1907 the production of automobiles began, designed by Walter C. Allen. The brand name was New York . Production came to a standstill at the end of the year.

The company was dissolved in early 1908. Allen took over the leftovers and then founded the Allen-Kingston Motor Car Company .
