WH McIntyre Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
WH McIntyre was Plant Manager at WH Kiblinger Company . When the company got into trouble in 1909, he bought it and started his own business. The seat was also in Auburn , Indiana . He continued the production of automobiles. The brand name was McIntyre . In 1911 the Motor Car Company of America was taken over. Between 1913 and 1914 the Imp Cyclecar Company existed as a subsidiary . Bankruptcy began in January 1915 . Production ended in the same year. A total of 1699 vehicles were built.
The DeKalb Manufacturing Company succeeded.
Tudhope Motor Company from Canada was a licensee .

Initially, only high-wheelers were in the range. They were similar to the Kiblinger models, but were independent enough that no patent disputes arose.
In 1909 there were vehicles with four different engines. Model F as a four-seater Surrey , Model H as a two-seater buggy, Model I as a two-seater sedan and Model K as a two-seater buggy had a two-cylinder engine that was specified with 12/14 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 177 cm . Model G and Model GG were a little more motorized. Its two-cylinder engine developed 16 hp. The wheelbase was 191 cm. They were bodied as a four-seater Surrey. Model N as a four-seater runabout and Model T as a four-seater Surrey had the same wheelbase, but a two-cylinder engine with 18.2 hp. In addition, there was the Model M . Its four-cylinder engine was specified with 24/26 hp. The wheelbase measured 282 cm. The structure was a four-seat runabout.
In 1910, the Model A-1 had a two-cylinder engine with 20 hp, 229 cm wheelbase and a two-seater runabout structure. Model B-1 differed only in 14 HP engine power and 203 cm wheelbase. Model M-2 as a three-seater runabout, Model M-3 as a four-seater touring car and Model M-4 as a five-seater touring car had a 30 HP four-cylinder engine and 284 cm wheelbase. In ranged Model M-10 as a runabout, Model M-15 as a Roadster and Model M-20 as a touring car. They also had a four-cylinder engine, but it made 40 hp. The wheelbase measured 292 cm.
In 1911 the Model A-4 was the only model with a two-cylinder engine. It made 20 hp. The wheelbase was 246 cm. The structure was a tonneau . The Model A-5 as a four-seater touring car and the Model T-5 as a two-seater torpedo had a four-cylinder engine with 35 hp and a wheelbase of 279 cm. Model C-5 had the same engine, but 292 cm wheelbase and, as a touring car, offered space for five people. The top models were the M-5 model , which was available as a normal five-seat touring car as well as a five-seat touring car with front doors, and the T-1 as a four-seat torpedo. Its four-cylinder engine developed 40 hp. The wheelbase was 318 cm.
In 1912 there was only the F-12 model . The four-cylinder engine developed 26 hp. The wheelbase of 290 cm enabled it to be built as a five-seater touring car.
The 6-40 model was in the range between 1913 and 1914 . It had a six-cylinder engine with 40 hp. The wheelbase was 305 cm. The structure was called Limited Touring and was a touring car with five seats.
In 1915 this model was retained. There was also the Model 4-25 . It had a 25 hp four-cylinder engine, 269 cm wheelbase and was also bodied as a five-seater touring car.
