Niagara Motors Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Buffalo , New York , in early 1913 . The move to Dunkirk in the same state followed in March 1913 . The production of automobiles began there. The brand name was Niagara . On December 3, 1913, it was announced that the plant was now closed. The company was thus dissolved.

Other US manufacturers of passenger cars of the brand Niagara were Niagara Automobile Company (1901) , Niagara Motor Vehicle Company , Wilson Automobile Company and Niagara Automobile Company (1915) .

The first vehicle was built in March 1913 at the Dunkirk plant. It was sold to a New Orleans customer . It is not known whether any other vehicles were made or sold.
