Sebring Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The brothers BH and OH Sebring founded the company in Sebring , Ohio , in late 1909 . The designers were James Gwin and Robert Allen. In January 1910 the first prototype was ready. The first public presentation was in March 1910 at the Cleveland Automobile Show . Thereupon the small series production of automobiles began. The brand name was Sebring . Production ended in early 1912. A total of around 25 vehicles were built.

All vehicles had a six-cylinder engine . A bore of 90.4875 mm and a stroke of 101.6 mm resulted in a displacement of 3920 cm³ . The engine output was specified as 35/40 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 310 cm .

In the first two years were a torpedo , a Baby Tonneau and Cross Country - Roadster available with five seats.

In 1912, the range of bodies was limited to the torpedo.
