Brennan Motor Manufacturing Company was an American company.

Company history

The company was founded in Syracuse , New York , in 1897 . It made engines . From 1902 onwards, some automobiles were made on customer request. The brand name was Brennan . In 1907, when the engine business was no longer going so well because many customers were no longer available, the company's own automobile manufacture was intensified. It ran until 1908. In 1913, commercial vehicles were in the range. In 1972 the company was dissolved.

The first cars had self-made engines with up to 18 hp . In 1907 four-cylinder engines were added.

The trucks had a payload of between 2 and 5 tons .

Engine buyers were Four Traction Automobile Company , General Automobile & Manufacturing Company , Golden State Automobile Company, and probably Eagle Motor Carriage Company .
