Company history
The company was based in Columbus , Ohio . It may have made carriages first . In 1903 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was officially Imperial . Unofficially, Columbus and Rodgers are also mentioned. Superintendent TW Picard was the designer. Production ended in 1904.

Four models were announced for the first year. In fact, only three appeared. What they had in common was the two - cylinder boxer engine with 8 hp and the chassis with a 198 cm wheelbase . Were bodies runabout in Model A , a light vans in Model C and coupe at the Model D .
Another model appeared in 1904. It had an air-cooled two-cylinder Buckeye Motor Company engine and cardan drive . These vehicles were bodied as Surrey .
