McPherson Cycle Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The company was based in McPherson , Kansas . It made bicycles . TW Temple was involved from 1897. It remains unclear whether the company existed before. In 1902, Temple began manufacturing automobiles . The brand name was Temple . The Horseless Age reported about it in January 1903. In the same month, Temple took over the company. Motor vehicle production ended in 1903. It is not known whether bicycles were made after that.

Bicycles were on offer as well as automobiles from 1902 onwards. Temple adjusted the motor vehicles to the wishes of the buyers.
