Wagner Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1900 in Rochester , New York , United States . The goal was the production of bicycles , tricycles and automobiles . Initially, motorless vehicles were converted into motor vehicles. Complete automobiles were added in early 1901. The brand name was Wagner . The first 20 cars were built by March 1901. Motor vehicle production ended in 1901. It is unclear whether other things were made afterwards.

The automobiles of 1901 were steam cars . In March 1901, two delivery vans were in the works for an order from a local company.

From April 1901 vehicles with gasoline engines were to follow.
