Superior Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . Another source gives the name Superion Motor Carriage Company , where Superion is obviously a typo. Another source confirms the formation of a Superior Motor Carriage Company .

Company history

IH Lewis was active in the field of bicycles . It remains unclear whether he was a manufacturer, dealer, workshop manager or racing cyclist. He founded the automobile production company in 1902. The seat was on Clara Street in Cleveland , Ohio . In the same year he manufactured several automobiles. The brand name was Superior .

There was no association with Briggs & Stratton and the Crescent Motor Car Company , which used the same brand name a few years later.
