Lackawanna Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1904 in Buffalo, New York , United States . It took over part of the production of the Conrad Motor Carriage Company . Already in January 1904 a vehicle was on the New York Automobile Show . The brand name was Lackawanna . In November 1904 the company was dissolved.

In 1905 there was a re-establishment as Lackawanna Valveless Motor Company , which manufactured gasoline engines for boats .

In contrast to Conrad, the range only featured vehicles with gasoline engines. A model with a two-cylinder two - stroke engine is mentioned . The setup was called Runabout - Surrey .
