The Diamond Automobile Company is one of several US automakers who brought out or wanted to bring out vehicles under the brand name Diamond .

In the case of the Diamond Automobile Company in Wilmington ( Delaware ), there were two prototypes with a gasoline engine, a motor tricycle and a runabout . The purpose was to market a transmission developed by John H. Parsons . The company was in 1902 by James Bailey , CB Harris (both from Wilmington), Charles Burton of Philadelphia ( Pennsylvania ), WF Pierce from St. Paul ( Minnesota ) and Martin Mainogue from Springfield ( Ohio founded).

In November 1902 the company was closed at the instigation of its landlord.

A reference to the Cycle Car Company , which from 1914 to 1915 also in Wilmington one Cyclecar produced called Diamond, is not known.
