CJ Moore Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .
Company history
Charles J. Moore founded the company in November 1901. The company was based in Westfield , Massachusetts . In the same year the production of automobiles began . The brand name was Westfield . Motor vehicle production ended in 1903.

Mostly steam cars were on offer . They had a steam engine with two cylinders and 6 hp . The Model A was a runabout with two seats and the Model B , a runabout with four seats.
From 1902 Westfield also offered vehicles without an engine. The customer could assemble an engine of his choice. Both chain and cardan drives have been handed down . These vehicles were bodied as runabouts, touring cars, and light delivery vans .
At the beginning of 1903 a vehicle with a gasoline engine was presented. It was a four-cylinder engine with 16 hp. The vehicle was apparently only used for experimental purposes.
One vehicle still exists. It has a two-cylinder engine with OHV valve control from the Remington Motor Vehicle Company . The engine produces 13 HP from a displacement of around 2500 cm³ . The structure is a tonneau with a rear entry. The Bonhams auction house auctioned the vehicle on November 3, 2017 for 332,157 euros .
