Banker Brothers Company was an American distributor for cars and a motor vehicle manufacturer.

Company history

The Banker brothers ran the company from Pittsburgh , Philadelphia . It was originally a dealer for bicycles . An automobile was created in 1895. From around 1902 vehicles were sold by Crestmobile , Daimler , St. Louis , Toledo and Waverley . In 1905, the company manufactured motorized vehicles for children that were marketed as Banker Juvenile . The company continued to exist as a car dealer.

The passenger car from 1895 remained a prototype . He had a gasoline engine type Kane-Pennington with 2 hp performance.

The child car of 1905 had an electric motor of Westinghouse with 1.1 kW (1.5 hp). It was 132 cm long and 99 cm wide. The maximum speed was specified as 19 km / h, but could be reduced.
