The company was founded in 1900 in Waltham , Massachusetts . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Watch City . Production ended in 1904.

Only steam cars were on offer . One of the buyers was Louis S. Ross, who used the vehicle in car races and later made vehicles himself, which he marketed as Ross .
