Wottring & Son Automobile Works , previously Wottring Brothers , was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

The company was based in Prospect , Ohio . Mainly it made carriages . In 1902 some automobiles were made. The brand name was Prospect . Motor vehicles were again manufactured between 1907 and 1908.

It is not known when the company was dissolved.

vehicles

The cars from 1902 had a gasoline engine with 6  hp . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a two-speed gearbox. Was steered with a steering lever. The structure was a small runabout that usually offered space for two people. Two folding seats were integrated into the front of the vehicle. The curb weight was given as around 476 kg and the top speed with 48 km / h.

The only information known about the vehicles from the period from 1907 to 1908 was that they were manufactured to customer orders.
