Cataract Machine and Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . Another source uses the spelling Cataract Machine & Automobile Co.

Company history

The company was founded in the early fall of 1904 in Niagara Falls , New York State . SP Franchot was President, Fred V. Simpson Vice President, HW Kellogg Secretary and Max Amberg Treasurer. The goal was the production of automobiles and other machines. The brand name was Cataract . On March 23, 1910, the Evening News reported a lawsuit. Then the track of the company is lost.
