Fanning Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . Another source uses the name The FJ Fanning Manufacturing Company .

Company history

The brothers Frank and John Fanning managed the company, with Frank responsible for the business and John for the workshop. The seat was in Chicago , Illinois . They started producing automobiles in 1901. The brand name was Fanning . The vehicles were sold by several dealers from the east coast of the United States . On May 29, 1903, a fire destroyed the plant. Then production ended.
