Garfield Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Justus Chancellor, NE McDaniels and George Schein founded the company in October 1904. The company was based in Chicago , Illinois . They mainly worked as a repair shop. A couple of automobiles were also made between 1904 and 1905. The brand name was Garfield . After the production task, the company was still active as a workshop.

Runabouts were on offer . They had either two or three cylinder engines . One feature was the air cooling of the engines.
