Tulsa Automobile & Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles . It is also the company name Tulsa Car & Mfg Co .

Company history

JE Crosbie, Schuyler C. French and FL Middleton founded the company in 1911. The seat was in Tulsa , Oklahoma . In February 1912, the Pioneer Car Company was taken over. In that year the production of passenger cars began . The brand name was Tulsa , possibly also Oilflyer . The focus, however, was on commercial vehicles . One source says the company did not survive in 1913. On the other hand, there is evidence that commercial vehicles were manufactured until 1916.

The Witt-Thompson Motor Company moved into the plant a few years later and also produced Tulsa brand cars.

One of the vehicles is described as a delivery truck for working in the oil fields. One source suspects that parts were used that were taken over from Pioneer.

The commercial vehicles were specified with 0.75 tons, 1 ton and 1.5 tons.
