Bartlett was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

JC Bartlett ran several workshops in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . In 1915 he started producing automobiles. The order for 100 vehicles came from the Electric Taxicab Company of New York City . The brand name was Bartlett . Production ended in the same year. It is unclear whether 100 vehicles were actually completed.

The only model was the Bartlett Regenerator Electric . A gasoline engine of Diehl invited the batteries while the electric motor drive the vehicles. The chassis was designed by FG ​​Peck, who previously worked for Buffalo Electric . The Blue Ribbon Car & Carriage Company of New York City produced the bodies.
