Sibley-Curtiss Motor Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Eugene Sibley left the Sibley Motor Car Company in 1911 . Joseph J. Curtiss sold Cartercar , Hupmobile and Velie vehicles in Simsbury , Connecticut . At the end of 1911 they founded the company in the same place. The production of automobiles began. They were marketed as Sibley-Curtiss . Production ended in 1912. A total of two vehicles were built.

The vehicles had a four-cylinder engine with a bore of 85.725 mm , a stroke of 95.25 mm and a displacement of 2199 cm³ . It made 25 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 267 cm . The structure was an open touring car with space for five people.

The buyers were Arthur Humphrey and Robert Welch.
