Harrolds Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in New York City in 1903 as an auto dealer. President and General Manager was Harry Unwin, who was previously Secretary of the Association of Automobile Manufacturers . In 1905 Unwin left the company. Robert D. Garden took over the management. He limited the auto trade to Pierce-Arrow vehicles . In the same year the company produced a number of automobiles. The brand name was Harrolds .

Another advertisement from the company has survived from January 4, 1925. Then the track of the company is lost.

One branch of the offer was special vehicles according to customer requirements on chassis from Pierce-Arrow.

In addition, light electric cars were created for city trips. There was a Harrolds in each of Howard J. Dietz's and William Rockefeller's garages .
