Rock Hill Buggy Company was an American manufacturer of vehicles .

Company history

John Gary Anderson operational from 1888 in Rock Hill in South Carolina , a repair shop for bicycles . The production of carriages was added. It is not known exactly when the name was changed to Rock Hill Buggy Company . In 1910 he began producing automobiles in partnership with the Norwalk Motor Car Company . The brand name was Rock Hill . Motor vehicle production ended in the same year. A total of 25 vehicles were built. In 1916 the company was dissolved.

Anderson founded the Anderson Buggy Company in 1916 .

The only model largely corresponded to a Norwalk model. A four-cylinder engine with 35 hp propelled the vehicles. The track width was either 142 cm or 152 cm.

Another source gives a four-cylinder engine with 30 horsepower, a four-seat structure and a new price of 1,600 US dollars .
