Woodland Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Cleveland , Ohio in 1909 . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Woodland . Production ended in 1909. A total of four vehicles were built.

After a reorganization, the company was renamed and operated as a repair shop for a few years.

The vehicles were named both 30 and Special . They had a three - cylinder two-stroke engine . The bodies came from the Patterson Body Company from the same city. They were open touring cars with five seats. The four doors that were not in use until after 1911 were unusual for the time. The original price was 2300 US dollars . All buyers were from Cleveland.
