Jarvis-Huntington Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Huntington , West Virginia in 1912 . The founders were TL Millard, FC Pifer, GG Poster, Ms. RJ Poster and RD Seaman. Jarvis Machinery & Supply Company already existed before that . In 1912 the production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles began . The brand name was Jarvis-Huntington . Production ended in the same year.

The vehicles had a six-cylinder engine . In the Model 6-45 it made 45 hp . 101.6 mm bore and 152.4 mm stroke resulted in 7413 cm³ displacement . The chassis had a wheelbase of 325 cm . The bodies were touring cars with seven seats, roadsters and sedans . The new price was $ 4,000 each .

The Model 6-70 was longer and more powerfully motorized. The engine had 114.3 mm bore, the same stroke, 9382 cm³ displacement and 70 hp. The wheelbase was 361 cm. These vehicles were available as touring cars with eight seats and as sedans. They cost $ 5,000.
