Ellsworth & Fay was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Technician Thomas J. Fay left Smith & Mabley Manufacturing Company in October 1906 . He then founded the company together with John Mager Ellsworth as a financier. The seat was in New York City . In 1907 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Ellsworth . Vehicle production ended in the same year. After that they limited themselves to the production of stainless steel .

It is not known when the company was dissolved.

The only model had a four-cylinder engine with T-head . It made 40 hp . Choices were chain and cardan drive . The original price was 5,000 US dollars .
