Wyeth Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

CE Clemence founded the company in the summer of 1911. The company was based in Boston and the factory in Waltham , both in Massachusetts . Automobile production began in August 1912. The brand name was Wyeth . Production ended in 1913. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

The vehicles had a single cylinder engine . 114.3 mm bore and 152.4 mm stroke resulted in 1564 cm³ displacement . The engine output of 13 hp was transmitted to the rear axle via a two-speed planetary gearbox . The chassis had a 229 cm wheelbase . The Model B was a runabout . Model C was available as an open and closed delivery van . The new prices were between 450 and 550 US dollars .
