Company history

Charles B. Hatfield Jr. founded the company in Owego , New York , in 1917 . In the same year the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Tribune . He sold the vehicles without an intermediary. Production ended in 1917.

The offer was a Cyclecar . It largely corresponded to the O-We-Go Car model . The V2 engine came from Ives . A bore of 85.725 mm and a stroke of 95.25 mm resulted in a displacement of 1099 cm³ . The engine capacity limit of 1100 for cycle cars was thus just met. The engine power is not recorded, but in the O-We-Go the engine made 12 hp . A friction gear and a chain transmitted the power to the rear axle. A major change was that the two seats were arranged next to each other and no longer one behind the other.
