United Electrical Manufacturing Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Ed Buchanan ran the Norcross , Georgia-based company . In 1907 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Nor-X . Sales remained limited to the area in and around Norcross. Production ended in the same year.

The vehicles were similar to the models made by the Knox Automobile Company . It is unclear whether there was an official collaboration with Knox. The vehicles had a four-cylinder engine . There was a choice of touring cars with four and five seats and a roadster with two seats. New prices ranged from $ 800 to $ 850 .
