Millington Motor Car Company was an American manufacturer of motor vehicles .

Company history

By early 1917 there was the Millington Auto Engineering Company , the trucks with rear-wheel drive to four-wheel drive rebuilt. The Millington Motor Car Company was founded in early 1917 as a successor company. The seat was in Chicago , Illinois . It mainly manufactured delivery vans and a few passenger cars as well . The brand name was Frontaway . Production ended in the same year.

The vans were front-wheel drive . This made a particularly low vehicle frame possible. They had a payload of around 450 kg . The original price was 675 US dollars .

On the same basis there was a runabout or roadster , of which only one drawing has survived. The open body offered space for two people next to each other.
