Wenger Simplified Motor Car Manufacturing Company , previously LS Wenger & Company , was an American manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in Lancaster , Pennsylvania . LS Wenger was actually an electrical engineer. The blacksmith John H. Kauffman and the coachbuilder John JA Hoover worked at the same address, although it remains unclear whether the two people were involved. Wenger manufactured a number of automobiles between 1907 and 1908. The brand name was Wenger . In 1908 the name was changed.
