Company history

Benjamin Briscoe founded the company in Jackson , Michigan in 1916 . He started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Wego . Production ended in 1916. The Hackett Motor Car Company took over the company.

A small car was on offer . It was slightly larger than the Argo from the Argo Motor Company , which Briscoe also made. It had a four-cylinder engine with 22 hp . The chassis had a wheelbase of 244 cm . There was a choice of roadsters for $ 405 and open touring cars for $ 455.
